Because God does it in us, before He does it through us. Power for what? Acts 1:8 (KJV) says, “But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses.”
Power for what? Power to share our testimony and to share our Christ with others. Power to love the unlovely not just those that love us. Power to forgive, and to speak blessings over our enemy. Power to see ourselves the way God sees us, and to meet the real us.
Power to keep moving toward God when obstacles are in our way. Revival is a spiritual shower in God’s presence. It removes the lies of the enemy as we hear the truth it sets us free. It is a reminder of what our priorities should be. It is an awakening to the areas of our life that are currently asleep. Jesus used Revival to change my life forever.
Jesus launched me into 20 nations of the world. I went from knowing about God to knowing Him intimately. Jesus introduced me to the real me. I moved from faith and trust in man to faith and trust in God. Revival sets an atmosphere so God can anoint and appoint. Revival brings us under the spout where the glory comes out. God will fill us so we can spill out on others "David's cup overflowed." We are to minister out of our abundance not out of our lack.
Many leaders are preaching from dry wells. Revival ignites, equips and sends us to a lost and dying world that needs Jesus. This world needs revival. This nation needs revival. Cleveland needs revival, Each and every one of us need revival. Without individual revival, many will take their God given talents and gifting’s to the grave and multitudes will suffer because of it. Revival will cost us something, but the lack of God in our lives is nothing short of devastating.
The devil has taken God out of our schools and his desire is to take God out of our hearts and to destroy our destinies in God. We must see revival as a life preserver God is beckoning us to Himself. We must press through and make time for Him and allow Him to prepare us for the greatest move of the Spirit of God we have ever experienced.
